I am enhancing a classic ASP site. Can I use RJ TextEd to point to a project on another server without it adding any files to the server? I also have a mapped path to the server if that makes any difference. Or do I need a local copy?

Yes, you can use the application to modify the source files on the other server, but the mapped address must have full writing enabled. You should connect to the other PC and adjust the security settings to have cull access to modify them. After each modification, you will have the possibility to load the website without transferring all the source files.

Always use the latest version of the software from the following link: http://www.rj-texted.se/
